Former German Territories in Poland

German Province: East Prussia / Ost Prussia / Ostpreußen


Here are a number of old photographic postcards of the Tannenberg monuments once located in the former German village of Tannenberg in East Prussia, now Stebark in Poland. The monuments - commemorating the Second Battle of Tannenberg in 1914 - were completed in 1927 and blown up and totally destroyed in January 1945.
