Here is a selection of images of the former German village of Sonnenburg in East Brandenburg, Prussia, Germany, now, S³oñsk, Lubuskie, Poland.
We hope that by making these old postcards available online that they will be of interest to anyone interested in the history of Sonnenburg (Slonsk) or researching their Polish, Prussian, German or Jewish ancestry. Historians might be interested to learn that Sonnenburg was the site of a Nazi concentration camp for left-wing political activists and artists from 1934 onward.
