The Prussian Poland site is aimed at
those interested in finding out what areas like Brandenburg, Neumark, Posen,
Silesia, Pomerania, Grenzmark and Prussia looked like when they were still part of
Prussia, Germany. Since 1945
these formerly German provinces have been part of Poland. Our site
includes a number of pre Second World War German maps and a large number
of scans of old picture postcards, photographs and vintage images dating
from between 1898 and 1945. Some of the postcards of formerly German
villages, towns and cities;
period photographs and vintage postcards from Germany; and the images of major
Polish towns and cities up to 1950 we have online include the following:
